Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Credit Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, processing loan applications, and ensuring timely repayment of loans.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate loan applications and assess creditworthiness of clients
- Conduct background checks and financial analysis to determine risk levels.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor loan repayments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and client interactions.
- Provide financial advice to clients and recommend suitable credit options.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth loan processing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in credit analysis, loan processing, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and credit policies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
