We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in a dynamic furniture manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in warehouse management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth workflows and efficient use of resources.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Implement effective inventory control systems to accurately track, organize, and maintain our extensive range of furniture components and finished products.
- Coordinate with the installation team ensuring all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with production to plan and execute efficient workflow strategies, ensuring on-time delivery and minimizing order fulfilment cycle times.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
- Organize and supervise the internal storage of raw materials, keeping the warehouse neat, safe, and compliant with industry standards.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency, and implement appropriate measures accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to address any warehouse-related issues and ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in the furniture manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Sound understanding of safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
