The Finance and Admin Officer will manage project financial reporting and provide administrative support to staff. The role requires maintaining sound financial management practices and ensuring compliance with donor and SEND Ghana’s financial procedures, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate financial management aspects of projects, including monthly donor reports, procurement, and documentation.
  • Maintain transparent accounting and internal control systems.
  • Support project budgeting, variance monitoring, and budget adherence.
  • Assist local partners with financial compliance and reporting.
  • Review expense retirements for accuracy, value for money, and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with audits, annual reports, and financial reviews.

Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s degree an advantage).
  • Professional qualification in progress: CA (Final Level) or ACCA (Strategic Professional).
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in NGO, audit, or related field.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and donor reporting.
  • Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a team player.
