The Operations Manager is located within the Travel Operations Directorate and reports directly to the CEO. The role oversees planning, coordination, and flawless execution of all group trips, corporate delegations, and operational activities.

Role Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for end-to-end operational delivery. This includes vendor coordination, ground logistics, airport operations, risk management, and customer experience. The individual will ensure that all trips are executed efficiently, safely, within budget, and to the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all group and corporate trips from briefing to return.

• Liaise with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and tour operators.

• Oversee pre-departure briefings, travel documentation, and checklists.

• Supervise airport operations (departures and arrivals) for groups.

• Implement risk management and contingency plans.

• Monitor service quality and quickly resolve issues or complaints.

• Prepare post-trip reports and recommendations.

• Work closely with Sales, Reservations, Visa, and Marketing to ensure alignment.

• Maintain operational cost of minimum 5% savings

• At least 10% cost savings through vendor negotiations annually.


• Average customer satisfaction score of 4.5/5 or higher.

• Timely delivery of all trips scheduled for the month.

• Contribute to overall revenue by ensuring 100% successful execution of all trips booked monthly.


Salary

• GHS 4,000/month (Possible increase after probation period based on performance)

Role Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all post-procurement operations across Duapa Agri's trading, processing, logistics, and quality functions. This role owns the full operational lifecycle from receipt of purchased raw materials through processing, storage, logistics, quality assurance, and final dispatch to off-takers, export channels, or finished-goods markets.

The role exists to ensure disciplined execution, strong internal controls, quality consistency, and efficient coordination across production, logistics, inventory, and quality functions, while working closely with Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams.

The Operations Manager is the single point of accountability for operational performance.

Scope of Role

Role begins: After procurement is completed and goods are received at warehouse/factory (GRN and initial QC sampling).

Role ends: At dispatch for export, delivery to off-takers, or release of finished products to market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Processing Operations

  1. Plan, supervise, and coordinate production and processing activities across all sites, including:
  2. Partner/toll processing facilities
  3. Duapa-managed processing plants
  4. Finished-goods and food production sites
  5. Ensure adherence to approved SOPs, production schedules, and shift discipline.
  6. Monitor production outputs, yields, downtime, rejects, and corrective actions.
  7. Supervise site-level Production/Processing Supervisors and ensure consistent reporting.
  8. Coordinate basic maintenance planning and operational readiness across sites.

2. Logistics, Warehousing & Inventory Management

  1. Oversee all logistics operations, including inbound transfers, inter-site movements, exports, and deliveries to off-takers.
  2. Supervise warehousing operations to ensure:
  3. Accurate stock records
  4. Secure storage
  5. Proper documentation
  6. Loss and shrinkage prevention
  7. Approve and monitor all stock movements, dispatch plans, and physical custody of goods.
  8. Ensure inventory controls are enforced and aligned with internal control requirements.

3. Quality Control & Assurance
  1. Embed quality control checks across receiving, processing, storage, and dispatch stages.
  2. Oversee raw material quality assessments for export commodities (e.g. Raw Cashew Nuts, Cashew Kernels, Shea Nuts, Shea Butter etc), working with QC personnel and providing escalation support.
  3. Supervise processing and finished-goods quality assurance, including:
  4. In-process quality checks
  5. Packaging integrity
  6. Batch traceability
  7. Compliance with food safety and quality standards
  8. Ensure all quality issues, rejections, and disputes are documented and resolved with clear corrective actions.
  9. Support the Managing Director on final quality sign-off and dispute escalation where required.
4. Operations Coordination & Cross-Functional Alignment

  1. Act as the primary coordination point between Operations and:
  2. Procurement: delivery schedules, specifications, rejection feedback, yield data
  3. Finance: stock valuation, cost tracking, approvals, internal controls
  4. Commercial: production planning against sales orders, delivery timelines, packaging requirements

  6. Drive disciplined communication and follow-through across all operational units

  1. Supervise the Operations Coordinator as the operational control tower.
  2. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reporting across:

They are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the smooth running of the space, ensure exceptional service standards, and manage the operational efficiency of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities

 Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the workspace, ensuring facilities are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming.

 • Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding member experiences.

 • Process Improvement: Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

 • Member Experience: Foster a community-focused environment, ensuring member satisfaction and responding promptly to feedback or concerns.

 • Supplier & Vendor Management: Oversee supplier contracts, negotiate agreements, and maintain strong relationships.

 • Budget & Resource Management: Manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.

 • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health & safety standards and legal requirements.

 • Event Coordination Support: Collaborate with events or marketing teams to host and deliver member-focused activities and wellness programs.

Requirements

 • Experience: 3–5 years in an operations management role, ideally within a coworking space, hospitality, or wellbeing-focused environment.

 • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.

 • Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail with excellent time and resource management.

 • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 • Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, resolve issues quickly, and adapt to changing priorities.

 • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using operational and booking software, with strong general IT literacy.

 • Customer-Centric: A genuine passion for creating exceptional experiences for members and guests.
