The Relationship Officer will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of interconnected client relationships. This role ensures that all banking needs of the customers, including deposits, transactions, trade finance and borrowing requirements are efficiently addressed. The officer serves as the primary point of contact for clients, providing tailored financial solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving profitability.

 SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES   

  1. Identify new business opportunities within the portfolio and acquire new clients through referrals, cold calls and  market intelligence
  2. Promote and cross-sell a range of bank products and services, including savings, current accounts, loans, trade finance, investment products and digital banking solutions.
  3. Assist in the preparation of credit approval memos, financial analysis and necessary documentation for loan processing
  4. Resolve customer queries, complaints and service requests
  5. Facilitate smooth and efficient execution of day-to-day banking transactions for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. A university degree with a minimum of second class lower
  2. Relevant experience in a similar role

JOB PURPOSE

To lead and manage the Bank's human capital strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The HR Manager will oversee recruitment performance management, employee relations,

training and development, compensation, and compliance with labour laws, while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Advise executive leadership and the Board HR Committee on workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design.

2. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.

3. Implement performance management systems that promote accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity and implement equitable rewards systems in support of the performance management programme.

4. Develop and implement human resource policies and procedures that are consistent with relevant labour laws and legislation to promote a healthy work environment.

5. Manage learning and development initiatives of employees and ensure they are kept abreast of new trends in the industry.

6. Champion employee engagement programs and culture transformation initiatives.

7. Manage employee industrial relations issues and ensure a harmonious working environment.

8. Interpret and explain the laws relating to labour and provide technical human resource assistance to the Board and implement human resource decisions and strategies of the Board.

9. Manage, maintain and update staff records and ensure to handle sensitive and confidential data with discretion at all times.

10. Ensure employee health and safety and welfare needs at all times.


QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

1. A minimum of first degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or relate field from a recognized University, with 3 to 5 year post qualification working experience as a Human Resource Manager in the financial sector.

2. Age: 35-40 years

3. Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM IHRMP) is an advantage.

4. Rural banking experience will be an added advantage.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

1. Strategic thinking and business acumen.

2.Change management and organizational development skills

3. Good working knowledge of the Labour Act, 200 (Act 651) and other relevant laws and regulation

relating to labour.

4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees.

5. Be people-oriented and results driven and must b able to work well under pressure.

6. Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential data with discretion.

7.Excellent communication, interpersonal an problem-solving skills

8. Must possess strong leadership and management skills

9. Strong negotiation and presentation skills

10. Ability to network, Influence and manage stakeholder communication at all levels.

11. Must be a team player with a high standard personal integrity and adherence to professional ethical standards.

12. High proficiency in the use of the MS Office Applications, i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Night Coordinator - Volta Serene Hotel

Position Summary

The functionary shall primarily be responsible for all hotel operations during night shift hours, focusing on front office operations, night audit and hotel safety/security. The night Coordinator shall represent management during night shift.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Degree or HND in hospitality management or any other related field.
  2. Minimum of four (4) years and above experience in the hotel industry.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction, comfort, and safety.
  2. Warmly greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and helpful welcome.
  3. Monitor guest activities and interactions to ensure they have an enjoyable stay.
  4. Verify accommodation and ensure that all special requests are fulfilled accurately.
  5. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to address repairs and maintenance issues promptly.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless and high-quality guest service.
  7. Conduct daily briefings for night staff, covering night activities, group and VIP arrivals, and special requests.
  8. Maintain a professional, service-oriented environment at all times.
  9. Ensure all public areas are clean, presentable, and well-maintained.
  10. Work closely with the housekeeping department to enhance guest service standards.
  11. Liaise with the IT department to resolve guest complaints or technical issues during the night shift.
  12. Coordinate with the Events team to review function sheets and supervise banquets and conference setups.
  13. • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of the nightly audit process.
  14. • Oversee the preparation and submission of daily summary reports.

  4. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
