Primary Purpose of this Job 

To plan and achieve required products and services in time at most cost effective and beneficial manner including assessment of required quality, logistics and improve relationship.

Major Tasks Headings & Corresponding Key Result Areas:

In time- Plan and achieve 

Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options and 

Develops plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies.


Budget- cost 
Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases.
Process & Methods Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Customers- Internal & external 
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers, Negotiate the  best deal for pricing and supply contracts. Ensure that the products and  supplies are high quality. Co-ordination with Clearing Team for import  shipments.

Sensitivity & Scenario 
Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality for all procurement items. Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development.

Stores
Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies and 
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

ERP
Effective utilisation of ERP to analyse purchases/Vendors parameters.
Learning & Development Working with team members and Procurement Head to complete duties as 
needed.

Education: 
Min: University Graduate 
Ideal: With Certification in Supply Chain/Procurement 
Legal: (e.g. Driver license): Driving License/National ID

Training: Min: 1-month on job

Experience:

Min: 5-10 years

Ideal: 05 years in manufacturing of similar size & type

Procurement Officer - MAX

Role Overview:


We are looking to hire a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Procurement Officer who will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

What You'll Do:

  • Create RFQs and POs on the ERP platform (Odoo)
  • Communicate Purchase Order with vendors to determine terms and availability of goods/services
  • Track pending orders assigned to vendors
  • Track vendor payment with the Account unit
  • Carryout supplier's core competence assessment and evaluate performance
  • Source for better and alternative cost to what is currently being gotten from existing vendors
  • Negotiate vendor's quote
  • Vendor management.
  • Track delivery of imported orders with the clearing agent
  • Generate and analyze spend reports as may be required
  • Carry out other Procurement/Supply Chain functions that may be assigned
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment

Job Purpose/Summary:

BCM Group is seeking to employ a self-motivated and experienced team player to fill the position of Store Assistant. Reporting to the Store Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for Supports the effective management of workshop inventory, materials, tools, and consumables. This role ensures timely issuance, accurate stock control, and compliance with site procedures to maintain equipment availability and job readiness. The Store Assistant also provides administrative support and promotes a safety-first culture in all warehousing activities.

Key responsibilities/Duties:

  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials, parts, and consumables
  • Accurately issue stock items to workshop technicians and record transactions in inventory systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storage environment
  • Participate in regular stock counts and cycle counts; investigate variances as required
  • Maintain material data in the system with correct part numbers, descriptions, and storage locations
  • Assist technicians with locating parts and advising on alternatives if stock is unavailable
  • Adhere strictly to safe lifting, handling, and material storage procedures
  • Any other stores related duty that may be assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in stores or inventory management.
  • Having basic knowledge of mining operations, particularly with mining industry experience, is crucial for a Stores Assistant role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software
