Location: Glico Health Insurance Ltd, Head Office, Avenor - Accra
The Systems Auditor will assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and security of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while protecting the organization from cyber risks and data breaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit IT systems, applications, and infrastructure for effectiveness and security.
- Evaluate IT governance and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory standards.
- Assess cybersecurity measures, conduct penetration tests, and review disaster recovery plans.
- Recommend process improvements and follow up on implementation.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and IT audit practices.
- Review access controls, user rights, and system configurations to prevent unauthorized activities.
- Monitor and assess third-party/vendor systems for compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure new systems and technologies are secure and audit-ready before deployment.
- Provide training and awareness sessions to staff on IT risks, security best practices, and compliance obligations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP) preferred.
- 3-5 years' proven experience in IT auditing, systems analysis, or cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated ability to identify IT control gaps, assess risks, and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, databases, and auditing frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing
- skills with a track record of delivering actionable insights.
