We are seeking a technically sound professional with the capacity to lead engagements and uphold high audit standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan and conduct audit engagements, covering testing controls, audit planning and risk assessment.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSASs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Provide guidance and technical support to audit staff.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Have a bachelor's degree (minimum of second class division).
- Be a qualified member of a professional accounting body(ICAG or ACCA).
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant audit experience.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of control and audit procedure
- Strong Knowledge of tax laws is a plus
