VACANCY: FINANCE MANAGER
Location: Accra, Ghana | Type: Full-Time | Level: Senior Management | Ref: VDCS/2026/FM/004
The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial management, reporting, treasury, and capital adequacy of Velox Digital Credit Services Ltd. The role oversees the Company's lending capital, external borrowing facility, liquidity management, financial statements, tax compliance, and regulatory financial returns to the Bank of Ghana.
This is a Key Management Function under the BoG Directive for Digital Credit Service Providers, 2025.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
. Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and BoG regulatory financial retums
. Manage liquidity, treasury, and funding
. Oversee loan book accounting, impairment provisioning (IFRS 9), and interest income reconciliation
. Ensure compliance with tax obligations
. Monitor capital adequacy and report to the CEO, Board, and Bank of Ghana
. Manage relationships with banks, external auditors, and the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA)
. Prepare financial inputs for the annual business plan and 5-year capital growth programme
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
. First degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; full professional accounting qualification
- ACCA, ICAG, CIMA, or CPA is mandatory
. Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in accounting or finance, of which at least 3 years
in a financial institution, NBFI, fintech, or audit firm serving the financial sector
. Strong knowledge of IFRS (particularly IFRS 9 for financial instruments and loan impairment),
Ghana tax laws, and BoG financial reporting requirements
. Proficiency in accounting software and financial modelling
. Must satisfy the Bank of Ghana's Fit and Proper Person requirements under Act 774 and BoG Directive, 2025
DESIRABLE
. Experience with loan portfolio accounting, MoMo reconciliation, and digital lending financial operations
. Prior experience in a BoG-regulated institution
