About the role
What drives our operations? Our people! We’re looking for an analytical and solutions-driven Senior Operations Manager with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to help us grow our ride-hailing operations in Ghana.
Your role will have a direct and tangible impact on local operations that you can see in real time. You will lead the local operations team and work closely with cross-functional and HQ stakeholders to support our mission of making cities more sustainable, accessible, and affordable. Main tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the driver value proposition, driving supply growth, performance, and retention.
- Lead and support the local operations team by defining and implementing effective operational processes focused on execution and results.
- Manage supply operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for driver and fleet partners throughout acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention.
- Analyse supply and marketplace metrics to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and maintain marketplace health.
- Identify local trends, risks, and improvement opportunities that may impact business performance and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate closely with HQ teams, including Product, Legal, and Marketing, to develop and execute initiatives that drive growth and operational efficiency.
About you
- You have 8+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or a related field.
- You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- You have a high level of ownership and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- You have experience managing and developing complex teams and operational functions.
- You are highly analytical, data-driven, and possess strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
- You are comfortable building analytical frameworks and using data to support strategic decisions and business growth.
