Role Profile – Brand Ambassador

Purpose of the Role
To build meaningful connections between consumers and the luxury portfolio through engaging, memorable, and emotionally compelling brand experiences. The Brand Ambassador serves as the face and personification of the Reserve portfolio, driving brand advocacy, consumer engagement, and trade influence while raising awareness, knowledge, and commitment to winning with luxury brands across the market.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and deliver impactful consumer and trade engagement programs that strengthen brand equity and create memorable luxury brand experiences.
- Plan and execute premium activations, including innovation launches, pop-ups, bar-in-bar experiences, trade shows, conferences, press events, and cultural sponsorship activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, trade partners, influencers, and industry stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and advocacy.
- Act as the face of the luxury portfolio in the market, representing brand values through professional conduct, appearance, expertise, and engagement.
- Identify emerging consumer trends, market opportunities, and industry insights, translating them into actionable initiatives that drive commercial growth.
- Support sponsorship planning and activation to ensure strong brand alignment and maximum return on investment.
- Drive employee, trade, and consumer engagement through brand immersion programs, mentoring initiatives, training sessions, and capability-building activities.
- Deliver high-quality brand education and training programs to sales teams, distributor partners, customers, and other stakeholders to strengthen luxury and spirits capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of activations, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on activation effectiveness, consumer engagement outcomes, and brand performance insights, recommending opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and execution of Reserve and luxury portfolio strategies within assigned markets and customer channels.
- Build awareness and expertise across the organization's spirits portfolio, acting as a subject matter expert and champion for luxury brands.
Key Requirements – Qualifications, Experience, Skills etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in a similar role within FMCG, luxury goods, premium beverages, hospitality, or related industries.
- Previous experience in marketing, sales, commercial, brand advocacy, or customer engagement roles.
- Experience in people development, coaching, training, and capability building.
- Strong understanding of premium spirits, wines, cognac, and luxury consumer trends.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of event management, sponsorship activation, and experiential marketing.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer and consumer behaviour.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
