VACANCY: FINANCE OFFICER
Location: Accra, Ghana | Type: Full-Time | Level: Officer| Ref: VDCS/2026/FO/004
Velox Digital Credit Services Ltd is looking for a motivated Finance Officer to support the Company's financial reporting, treasury, loan-book accounting, reconciliations and financial controls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Support preparation of financial and regulatory reports
- Perform bank, mobile money and loan portfolio reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
- Support cash-flow and liquidity monitoring.
- Assist with loan interest and impairment calculations.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Support tax compliance and statutory filings.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Support external audit and Bank of Ghana reporting requirements.
- Monitor financial controls and identify discrepancies.
REQUIREMENTS
- First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- 2-3 years' relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, banking, fintech or financial services.
- Part-qualified ACCA, ICAG, CIMA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
- Applicants should be "a Gen Z" or "Gen Z at heart".
DESIRABLE
- Experience with loan portfolio accounting.
- Experience with mobile money reconciliations.
- Experience in a Bank of Ghana-regulated institution.
- Knowledge of IFRS 9 and financial-services accounting.
