𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁
DTI is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage procurement activities, supplier relationships, sourcing, purchasing, and inventory coordination while ensuring value for money, quality, timely delivery, and compliance with DTI’s procurement policies and procedures.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Manage procurement activities from sourcing and purchasing through to delivery
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and coordinate supplier performance
• Support procurement planning and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Ensure procurement activities comply with DTI policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• Coordinate inventory management and maintain effective stock control
• Support supplier and contract management processes
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery timelines
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
• First Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Professional qualification in procurement is a distinct advantage
• Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
• In-depth knowledge of Ghana’s procurement laws, regulations, and practices
• Demonstrated experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and procurement management tools
• Strong leadership, supervisory, negotiation, and supplier relationship management skills
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
• Five (5) to eight (8) years’ relevant experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management
• Strong experience in inventory management and control
