We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage our company’s purchasing and supply chain needs. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and timeliness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with company objectives.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure quality and value for money.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and supplier databases.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, track orders, and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Having a valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
