Our client, a class "A" Construction Company seeks to fill vacant positions with qualified, dedicated and experienced person as:
STOREKEEPER
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory management systems.
- Organize and store materials systematically to ensure easy retrieval and prevent damage.
- Issue materials to site teams against approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare timely requests for replenishment.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and labelling of hazardous materials.
- Maintain proper documentation for all inward and outward stock movement.
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics teams, and project managers to ensure timely supply of materials.
- Enforce security measures to prevent theft or misuse of materials.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Applicants should have at least 5 years working experience, preferably in the area of construction.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
