The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial health through compliance, analysis, and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ledgers, and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA or ICAG) is an advantage.
