Title: Assistant Project Manager – 2026 SLOL Fellowship (Part-Time, Remote)

We are seeking a reliable, self-directed Project Coordinator to support delivery for the 2026 cohort targeted at recent graduates from Northern Ghana (Upper East, Upper West, North East, Savannah and Northern regions).
Key Responsibilities
1. Research and Opportunity Management
- Conduct and document desk research on pre-university pathways, universities, and scholarship opportunities
- Track eligibility criteria, requirements, and deadlines for relevant programs
- Maintain and regularly update a structured opportunity database
- Share relevant opportunities and timelines to support cohort planning
2. Programme Delivery and Participant Support
- Prepare session outlines, slides, and practical resource guides
- Develop learning materials (e.g., application planning, essay writing, interview preparation etc) aligned with the cohort’s needs
- Coordinate and support delivery of virtual workshops and guest sessions
- Provide one-on-one guidance to the cohort on:
- Application timelines and planning
- Personal statements and essays
- Review of application materials with structured feedback
- Basic interview preparations
3. Coordination, Monitoring and Administration
- Schedule and coordinate workshops, meetings, and communications (WhatsApp, email, virtual sessions)
- Maintain participant trackers, progress records, and key deadline monitoring
- Support documentation of programme outcomes, insights, and lessons learned
- Track programme-related expenses and maintain simple expense records for accountability
- Flag engagement or performance risks early
5. Monitoring and Documentation
- Maintain participant profiles, trackers and simple performance records
- Flag engagement or progress risks early
- Support documentation of programme outcomes and lessons learnt

Required
Autonomy and accountability
Strong writing and editing skills
Highly organized, reliable, and self-motivated
Strong adaptability, facilitation, and coordination skills
Comfortable using Zoom, Word, Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Canva and WhatsApp
Preferred
Experience applying to, or supporting applications for, competitive universities, scholarships, or fellowships
Background in education support, mentoring, admissions guidance, or programme coordination
Strong research skills and attention to detail
