Job Title: Operations Officer

Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Department: Warehouse Operations
Job Summary:
The Operations Officer oversees the daily execution of warehouse and haulage operations, ensuring efficient vehicle dispatch, cargo handling, stock management, and compliance with operational safety and client service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise daily truck loading and unloading activities.
- Schedule and assign drivers and assistants for dispatches.
- Oversee warehouse inventory movement, storage, and stock arrangement.
- Support vendor engagement for routine repairs, equipment rentals, and supplies.
- Ensure client service levels are met, and issues are escalated promptly.
- Prepare daily dispatch reports and truck utilization summaries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Transport Operations
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in logistics or warehouse operations, preferably in a haulage or freight environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Active listener, customer-focused mindset and a results-driven attitude
