Organizational Setting and Reporting
The Retail Travel Consultant is part of the Commercial & Business Development Directorate and reports to the Head of Sales & Partnerships. The role focuses on converting individual and small-group enquiries into confirmed bookings.

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Retail Travel Consultant. The individual will handle walk-in, WhatsApp, social media, and referral enquiries, providing travel advisory, quotations, and closing bookings for flights, hotels, tours, and group trips. The role is highly performance-based and targets-driven.
Key Responsibilities
• Respond promptly to enquiries from walk-in, phone, email, and social media clients.
• Advise clients on suitable destinations, flights, hotels, and packages.
• Prepare quotations, itineraries, and booking confirmations.
• Upsell and cross-sell packages, tours, insurance, and add-ons.
• Manage installment payment plans and follow up on balances.
• Maintain customer records and encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Achieve monthly sales and trip contribution targets.
Competencies
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication (spoken and written).
• Good organisational and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and empathy with customers.
Education & Experience
• HND or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in travel/tourism or customer-facing sales is an advantage.
• Computer literacy (email, Excel, booking platforms, WhatsApp Business).
Performance Targets
• GHS 80,000 minimum monthly sales volume.
• At least 10 passengers annually contributed to group/flagship trips.
Salary
• GHS 3,000/month (Possible increase after probation based on performance)
• Attractive commissions on bookings and upsells.
