Role Description
The Content Creator / Social Media Officer is responsible for daily content creation and online engagement, bringing AbtonCrafters trips and experiences to life through visuals and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
• Create high-quality photos, videos, reels, and graphics.
• Edit and publish content consistently across platforms.
• Cover live events, trips, and client experiences where needed.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages.
• Work with Marketing Manager to execute campaigns.
• Track performance of posts and recommend improvements.
• Website management and updates
Competencies
• Strong creative and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in video editing and design tools (CapCut, Canva, etc.).
• Understanding of social media trends and algorithms.
• Consistency, discipline, and ability to work to deadlines.
Education & Experience
• Portfolio of previous content work is more important than degree.
• Prior experience managing brand pages is a strong plus.
Performance Targets
• Minimum 30 posts per month across platforms.
• At least 8 engaging reels weekly.
• Minimum 3 confirmed bookings per month attributed to content.
Salary
• GHS 2,000/month (Possible increase after probation)
• Conversion-based incentives.
