ACCOUNTS & FINANCE MANAGER
DEVTRACO LTD. is seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professional for the position of Accounts & Finance Manager.
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for managing and supervising the company's accounting and financial operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly collection reports.
- Managing receivables and carrying out client follow-ups through calls, emails, SMS, and client visits.
- Receiving client payments, processing deposits, and issuing receipts.
- Updating client ledgers and performing account reconciliations.
- Managing payables due to contractors and vendors.
- Processing cheques and recording payments in the cheque register/cashbook.
- Processing and filing payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents.
- Managing petty cash operations.
- Preparing monthly and annual estate budgets.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and management accounts.
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Preparing payroll for staff.
- Filing and paying statutory obligations including PAYE, WHT, VAT, SSF, and pensions.
- Performing any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Applicants must possess:
- A Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of three (3) years' relevant working experience in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of ERP accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Part or full professional qualification with ICA or ACCA will be an added advantage.
