We’re hiring an experienced qualitative researcher who can both moderate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), conduct In-depth Interviews and run end-to-end fieldwork—from recruitment and scheduling to venue, logistics, consent, incentives, and data quality. Ideal for a hands-on professional with strong local networks and fluency in English plus at least one Ghanaian language.
Compensation

Responsibilities:
Planning & Logistics – Schedule sessions, secure venues, and manage risks and contingencies.
Source, screen, confirm, and remind participants to hit quotas, while maintaining accurate contact, attendance, and incentive records.
Facilitate inclusive, in-language FGDs end-to-end—managing dynamics, timing, note-taking, and clean audio—with rapid daily debriefs.
Ensure high-quality transcripts/translations, complete and timely file submissions, and full adherence to consent, safeguarding, and data-protection rules.
Requirements:
2+ years in qualitative research with hands-on FGD moderation and participant recruitment (or 30+ FGDs moderated—nice to have).
Fluent in English and at least one local language
Evening/weekend availability; comfortable traveling within region(s).
Strong local networks and proven recruitment for diverse populations.
Confident with WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets, Zoom/Teams, digital recorders.
Familiarity with SurveyCTO/ODK/KoBo;
Professional demeanor, cultural sensitivity, and excellent time management.
