Rocksure International Limited, a leading mining services company in Ghana, invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated professionals for the position of Senior Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) Maintenance Supervisor.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Senior HME Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for leading and supervising maintenance teams to ensure the safe, reliable and cost-effective maintenance of the Company's fleet of heavy mining equipment. The successful candidate will drive maintenance excellence by maximizing equipment availability, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with company standards, OEM recommendations and statutory safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Sectional Engineer Certificate of Competency from the Inspectorate Division of the Minerals Commission
- A minimum of fifteen [15) years' relevant maintenance experience, with at least seven [7] years in a supervisory role within an open-pit mining environment
- Extensive experience maintaining heavy mining equipment, including haul trucks, excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, motor graders, water bowsers and ancillary mining equipment.
- Sound knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, powertrains, electrical systems and electronic diagnostic tools.
- Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems [CMMS), such as Pronto, SAP or similar maintenance software.
- Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance principles.
- Experience working with Komatsu, Caterpillar, Liebherr and Hitachi, Also, experience in similar OEM equipment will be an advantage.
