Job Title: Logistics Manager

Company Overview

Our client is a fast-growing Agric-industrial company operating in Ghana. The company imports, processes, and distributes soya-based animal feed products, contributing significantly to the agricultural and livestock sectors in Ghana.

Job Purpose

The Logistics Manager will oversee the end-to-end supply chain and logistics functions including import coordination, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution. This role ensures that products and raw materials move efficiently and cost-effectively from supplier to production to end-users.

Key Responsibilities

i. Manage all logistics activities including inbound shipments, customs clearance, and transportation of raw materials.

ii. Coordinate warehousing, storage, and distribution of finished products across the supply chain.

iii. Develop and implement logistics strategies that reduce costs and improve service delivery.

iv. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement, production, and sales to ensure timely availability of materials and products.

v. Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

vi. Select and manage relationships with transporters, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.

vii. Use ERP or logistics software to track inventory, shipments, and delivery performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

i. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

ii. Minimum 5–7 years’ relevant experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within the aggro-processing or manufacturing industry.

iii. Proven experience in import/export logistics and working with Ghanaian port/customs authorities.

iv. Proficiency in logistics systems and inventory management tools.
