Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or higher in a related discipline
- Proven work experience in a similar position or related stock-keeping role
- Good physical condition and stamina suitable for shift duty
- Driving license is a plus
Key Tasks
- Receive incoming materials and equipment to ensure compliance with the highest quality
- Inspect received stock and report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately
- Allocate adequate storage bins or locations to receive items and materials
- Issue requested materials according to approved requisitions
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and compile reports
- Package items or equipment that are to be transported or shipped out to out-stations or satellite stores
- Deliver items or equipment to out-stations or satellite stores where required
- Ensure routine housekeeping of the stores
- Control stores environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support transparency and accountability
