Job Details
The Procurement Supervisor shall be responsible for:
- Monitor vendor partner performance; identify concerns and implement corrective actions to ensure streamlined continuity of service.
- Develop and maintain efficient processes for post-order activities, including order confirmation, scheduling, and logistics coordination
- Monitor and enforce supplier governance policies, ensuring compliance with ethical procurement practices, anti-corruption laws, and corporate policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate fraud, theft, and inefficiencies.
- Implement procurement digitization using ERP systems (SAP)
- Negotiate cost-effective procurement contracts to optimize the business’ supply chain.
- Work with Legal to ensure supplier agreements meet Ghanaian and international best practices.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Optimize freight and storage costs through route planning, bulk purchasing, and improved supplier negotiations.
- Reduce logistics downtime and supply chain disruptions through real-time tracking and forecasting models.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on purchase performance, inventory levels, spending, savings and compliance status for the HOD.
- Lead ISO audits and HSE champion in the Department.

Qualification Required & Experience
- Minium a degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related.
- 5 years’ relevant experience in sourcing and procurement operations.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG operations
- Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Power Point and any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software, preferably SAP.
