Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting, budget management, and process improvement initiatives while serving as a key liaison between the finance department and other stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and Oversight
- Supervise and provide guidance to the Assistant Finance Managers responsible for accounts payable, revenue, and financial reporting.
- Ensure alignment of team activities with the overall goals of the finance department and the company.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Senior Finance Manager.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and report variances with detailed explanations and recommendations.
Internal Controls and Compliance
- Assist in maintaining and strengthening internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives.
- Act as a key liaison between the finance team and external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Team Development
- Mentor and develop the Assistant Finance Managers and team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Senior Finance Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
