𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿
DTI is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee infrastructural, maintenance, and safety activities while ensuring that the Institute’s facilities remain safe, functional, efficient, and well maintained.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Plan and coordinate installations, refurbishments, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Inspect buildings and infrastructure to identify repair and renovation needs
• Monitor and optimise utility consumption, fuel efficiency, and cost management
• Supervise DTI facilities and ancillary staff, including security, technicians, groundskeepers, kitchen staff, cleaners, and external contractors
• Manage multiple facility-related projects and contractor activities
• Oversee waste disposal, staff parking allocation, and building security
• Manage the Institute’s vehicle fleet, including insurance, tracking, servicing, and repairs
• Manage procurement processes for facility-related services
• Support the management of insurance plans and service contracts
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and licences, including FDA, HSE, fire safety, and applicable building requirements
• Conduct performance evaluations and training programmes for ancillary staff
• Ensure proper uniform and PPE compliance across relevant teams
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
• Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant field
• Strong knowledge of technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
• Excellent organisational, leadership, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
• Strong team and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify crises, respond swiftly, and make sound decisions under pressure
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar facilities management role
• Experience managing teams comprising staff and external contractors
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
