Purpose of Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Store Officer to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and control of inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inventory movements, processing store documentation, and supporting procurement activities while adhering to company safety and food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Issue materials and spare parts to operators and supervisors based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records by updating stock cards, bin cards, and inventory registers.
- Organize and store materials appropriately to ensure easy identification and accessibility.
- Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of goods supplied by vendors.
- Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and update incoming goods registers for both local and imported materials.
- Process supplier invoices and submit relevant documentation to the Accounts Department for payment.
- Maintain records and filing systems for store transactions and inventory management activities.
- Maintain the Tools Movement Register and ensure proper tracking of company tools and assets.
- Support urgent procurement of approved materials when required.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Report food safety concerns, hazards, and near-miss incidents promptly through the appropriate channels.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support operational needs.

Qualifications
Education and Work Experience:
- Minimum HND in Purchasing & Supply, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse role, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of inventory management processes and stock control procedures.
- Knowledge in SAP is and added advantage

- Very strong computer skills.
- Strong communicator (both oral & written).
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
