The Role
We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and development of innovative digital products across mobile and web platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong frontend engineering expertise with product thinking and a passion for building intuitive, scalable, and reliable user experiences. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into well-designed and high-quality applications.
This role involves developing sophisticated applications with complex workflows, data-driven interfaces, and real-time interactions. You will contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from understanding user needs and improving product experiences to implementing, testing, and enhancing production systems. Your key responsibilities will focus mainly on coding and developing mobile applications and other frontend elements of our flagship products, connecting and working with in-house developed APIs, polishing and improving the UX and UI of existing products, developing mobile and web UX/UI for upcoming products among others.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of frontend development, contribute to technical and product decisions, and help establish strong frontend engineering practices as our product portfolio continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile and web applications, focusing on logistical workflows and high-density data environments.
- Translate product requirements into scalable frontend architectures and intuitive user experiences.
- Collaborate with designers to improve interfaces, workflows, and overall product usability.
- Build reusable components, frontend libraries, and design systems that support multiple products.
- Develop complex, data-driven interfaces involving workflows, approvals, notifications, and real-time interactions.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, authentication systems, and realtime communication platforms.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, reliability, and accessibility.
- Participate in technical planning, product discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to frontend standards, engineering practices, and development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in React Native, React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience building production-grade mobile and web applications.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development, and state management patterns.
- Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and real-time data applications.
- Experience with modern frontend development tools, testing practices, and Git-based workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with UI/UX design, prototyping, and product design using Figma or other design tools. Eye for engaging and creative designs.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Ability to evaluate user workflows and improve interaction design.
- Prior experience building workforce management, shift scheduling, roster systems, or enterprise healthcare SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with native mobile development using Swift or Kotlin.
- Experience developing reusable design systems and component libraries.
