Job Purpose

The Assistant Audit Manager will support the Senior Audit Manager in planning and executing audits across Polytanks’ operations. This role ensures adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory standards while identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending improvements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in developing risk-based audit plans specific to Polytanks’ operations (manufacturing, inventory, procurement, logistics, and sales).
2. Execute audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial integrity, and operational efficiency.
3. Monitor compliance with group policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
4. Review processes related to raw material procurement, production, warehousing, and product dispatch to identify areas of risk or cost leakage.
5. Prepare audit reports with actionable recommendations and present findings to management.
6. Conduct follow-up audits to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
7. Support investigations into anomalies, stock discrepancies, or suspected fraud cases.
8. Liaise with cross-functional teams to strengthen internal audit awareness and control consciousness.
9. Assist in digitalizing and improving audit processes using ERP (e.g., Tally or SAP).
10. Report key risk areas to the Senior Audit Manager and support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. Part or full professional qualification (ACCA, ICA, CIA, or equivalent) is required.
3. 4–6 years of audit experience (internal/external), preferably in manufacturing or FMCG  sectors.
4. Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
5. Experience in manufacturing or stock-heavy environments is a strong advantage

Working Conditions

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, design, and supervise construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure including buildings, roads, drainage systems, and foundations within the plant and other company sites.
2. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil works.
3. Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved  drawings, specifications, and timelines.
4. Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
5. Conduct site inspections, quality assurance checks, and safety assessments during construction activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. HND Engineering/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
2. Minimum of 3–5 years practical experience in construction or manufacturing environments.
3. Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Project.
4. Strong understanding of local building codes, materials, and engineering standards.
5. Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
7. Membership or certification with a professional engineering body (e.g., GhIE or  equivalent) is an advantage.

Job Summary:

Polytanks Ghana Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced AC Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems across its factory and office facilities located at Spintex. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of HVAC systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems, including  split units, central ACs, chillers, and exhaust systems.
2. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
3. Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of all cooling 
4. systems in factory and administrative areas.
5. Monitor and maintain refrigerant levels, clean filters, coils, and condensers regularly.
6. Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
7. Record all maintenance and repair work completed, and report any major issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
8. Assist in the procurement of spare parts and tools when necessary.
9. Collaborate with the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams on cross-functional issues affecting factory equipment and facility comfort.
10. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or service requests to minimize downtime.
11. Maintain proper housekeeping of tools, equipment, and work areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. • Technical/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related field.
2. • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
3. • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and mechanical components.
4. • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
5. • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
6. • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in AC maintenance.
8. • Certification from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or relevant authority is an added advantage.
