PROCUREMENT OFFICER
ROLE DESCRIPTION

For this reason, we are looking for a Procurement Officer who will collaborate with our Head of Procurement (Non-Trade) to drive excellence in our organization while also supporting our internal Procurement unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process purchase requisitions, obtain supplier quotations, compare prices, and issue purchase orders within delegated authority.
- Track order fulfillment, manage exceptions, and confirm receipt of goods and services.
- Coordinate with warehouse and internal teams for proper material receipt and documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, and order status.
- Assist in coordinating timely payment processing with Finance for received goods/services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, update ERP, and prepare operational reports (open orders, spend tracking).
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal controls.
- Perform other procurement-related tasks assigned business and operational needs.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (E.g.technical/ Engineering /Production background etc.)
- Professional Certification (Optional): Student or affiliate membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar procurement body is an advantage.
- 1-3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Support.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes.
- Supplier communication skills.
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Basic analytical and price comparison skills.
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
- Computer literacy: Proficiency in Ms. Excel, Ms. Word, Ms. PPT, SAP & Ariba.
